Artist statement
Pole dance comes with an image. I don't run from it. I want to show you everything else it can be.
To me, pole is an art form — a place where movement, music, strength and emotion meet to tell a story. Around the pole, on it, upside down or completely still: the possibilities never run out. The same apparatus can be fierce in one piece and fragile in the next.
I don't perform to show how many tricks I can do. I perform so you feel something — and leave seeing pole differently.
Technique is the medium. The performance is the experience.
